Crown
Premiere June 4 SKC — Student Cultural Center
The play "Crown" is on the occasion of the 40th anniversary of the Mimart Theater. Perseverance and experience led us to the name, because the crown symbolizes the circle of time, continuity and duration. The concept is based on the principles of circling in nature, which is related to repetition in practicing turns through dignified play in a circular space. The performance is of an experimental type, where the host Nela Antonović had an opening speech about the importance of the rotation of the planet, which positively affects changes in the Cosmos, and she instructed that the rotation should continue continuously for forty minutes. People present from the audience take turns spontaneously, where dancers of various techniques and citizens participated.
The goal of the project is to improve the development of artistic play by encouraging players to participate in research projects, empowering them for personal creative development through further education of new techniques and procedures using the Mimart method, which made the performance innovative in terms of form, the dance scene more diverse, and contributed to changing the audience's perception of the projects contemporary artistic games and strengthening of cultural habits.
The turn abolishes both time and space because it signifies repetition. The game of circles was initiated by: Katarina Bućić, Miona Petrović, Andjela Žugić, Galina Ralić, Sanja Krsmanović Tasić, Branka Stojković, Nikola Vranić, Miloš Dilkić and many others, as well as guests of the Pocket Troop Mina Ćirić.
