WATER
Premiere: 22. apri 2013., DOB - "Dom omladine" Belgrade
Performance “Water” is non-conventional work without borders between concept, theater, rituals, dance, visual arts, sound design and Activism. Material for performance arises from fusion between individual stories and experiences, documentary and scientific materials, ecological awareness and reality of water pollution and contemporary model of originality. Water is product of nature, associated with idea of creation, so it is challenge for artistic research and paying attention to the preservation of water quality for the future of the planet and life. Kafkian access of imposition of unjust suspicion to everyone, in order to influence the minds of spectators, dominates the scene "Rivers" in which the actor carries a large picture of fish with the name of Kafka. Project “WATER” by Theater Mimart 2012/14 has a goal of Intercultural collaboration through affirmation of water as universal public good which connected diversity. The idea is based on the phenomenon of water, research materials on the structure and properties of water, the scientific evidence that water possesses intelligence, consciousness and a photographic memory. Many axioms questions about water that science does not know the answer, give the opportunity to explore theater through an open process. Water, as a universal matter on the planet, related to life connects all people regardless of geographical, linguistic, social, political and other obstacles, just as non-verbal theater.
