The Origin of Fear

The play "Origin of Fear" is a symphony of everything we keep quiet about. In this overpopulated, overlit world, we are still tormented by that one dark corner where we are alone, where we see and hear things we don't talk about. Not to a friend, not to a therapist, not to myself. We used to be afraid of things we couldn't explain and we turned them into witches and ghosts to make it easier for us. Today, we pretend not to believe in witches, so we gave some names to our fears: fear of loneliness, of the future of the Earth, of missed chances, of lies... Talking about fear is bold. Giving it a name is useful. But facing the source of the fear is the key.
