VISION

Non-verbal performance - pantomime, with motives of the book by Vladeta Jerotic about dreams and exploring symbols.

This is surreal story about finding truth, where authors go trough spiral maze of spiritual verticals. Integrated Ideas, performance techniques and the experience of two artists contribute to the enigmatic atmosphere of visions, which through the pictures gradually lead to the catharsis of the modern man. A set of archetypes of dance contributes to the skills of authors / actors from the ritual, through Butoh Dance, Physical Theater to Pantomime. This is a trans-medial non-verbal performance that engages all the senses of both the actors and the audience, asking questions about the path of contemporary artist and the intuition of contemporary creativity. The black tube on the stage symbolizes the presence of absenteeism, entering the unknown, entering into dreams. The actor with skillful technique, inside the tube changes his shape from where the actor pulls out symbols and props. Symbolic objects come as dreams in dreams, reflecting the state of the artist on the path of discovery. The synergism of both artists on the scene creates tension in anticipation of the expected appearance of the new symbol, where the actor changes the atmosphere of the scene and the movement of the partner by changing props. Symbols reflect the four religions, consciousness, migration, wars and suffering, conflict of self-esteem, the acceptance of obstacles in life through the notion of the victim, but also work on themselves for a better tomorrow. The theoretical practical approach brings a whole performance, where, through possible associations, the audience intuitively becomes drawn into dreams. Bearing in mind the legend of Pandoras Box, this project explores the possibility for the future, because in the end there is hope. Trans-medial non-verbal performance that engages all senses, both actors and audiences, asking questions about the path of contemporary artists and the intuition of contemporary creativity.
